About
Looking Through the Stained Glass Window is a witty and illuminating coming-of-age Harlem-based story that takes place during the AIDS epidemic and during the rise of Hip Hop in New York City in 1992.
This production features Crystal Waterman—a Black woman whose story portrays the cyclical effects of trauma and addiction and uses self-reflection and humor to do so along with vocals sung by her modern day daughter Raine Krystal’ Waterman.
Director/Playwright Evie Rhodes along with the Tony Award Winner and Four-Time Grammy nominee Melba Moore in collaboration bring forth
