Looking Through The Stained Glass Window
 

Looking Through the Stained Glass Window is a witty and illuminating coming-of-age Harlem-based story that takes place during the AIDS epidemic and the rise of Hip Hop in New York City in 1992. A one-woman theater workshop, the production features RenitaLewis as Crystal Waterman—the Black female character whose story portrays the cyclical effects of trauma and addiction and uses self-reflection and humor to do so.

 

Evie Rhodes is a Black Female Playwright who is best-known as a Novelist. One of her more acclaimed books is Expired. 

Rhodes will bring her authentic, raw storytelling style to the stage, while  stepping into her Directorial Debut along with Co-Director, Rebecca Jones of Women of War.  Development Director, Bianca LaVerne Jones.
